About Us

Welcome to The Tent People, a social enterprise based in Hayfield, High Peak, founded in 2021 by Joss and Lynds. We are a producing organisation, creating community arts experiences that celebrate the great outdoors and more recently the great indoors! In 2025 we took over The George Hotel in Hayfield, a 16th centry coaching Inn, with 9 bedrooms, a bar, kitchen and event space.
